School zones

A school zone is a geographic boundary surrounding a school. The zone is where the school accepts its core intake of students.

Not sure if you live in our school zone? Check the map on this page or use the find a school zone or catchment area tool.

Our school zone

Our school has a catchment area. Generally, applications received for students where Richmond Primary School is the closest Government School will be considered a priority enrolment. Additionally, the following are also considered a priority enrolment:

  • a child or young person with a sibling that will concurrently attend the same school. (This does NOT include past siblings or where the sibling will graduate before the enrolling student commences.)
  • a child or young person in care (of the Department for Child Protection)
  • a child or young person identified as Aboriginal and participating in a department program
  • A child or young person whose parent has documented evidence they are a current serving member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF)

Families who do not qualify for priority enrolment are still encouraged to complete an ‘Expression of Interest form, which will be considered based on Department defined criteria. Please Contact us for more information.
